Award-Winning Interior Design in Aspen & the Roaring Fork Valley
The definition of “luxury living” varies from person to person, so envisioning it for a specific client requires getting to know that person’s wants and needs. In learning about the person, their family, how they live, and what they like, a vision of their luxury emerges, and a design forms.
Cathers Home combines our designers’ passion and experience with a client’s needs and desires to create a perfect space, a perfect home for each unique homeowner.
Our sought-after Interior Designers prioritize exceptional, personalized service for every project and deliver beyond expectations. Instead of blindly following trends, we listen and collaborate with each client to design a distinctly personal and carefully crafted interior.
With our individual talents and skills, plus years upon years of experience designing and managing interior projects, we’re equipped and eager to create one of a kind, visually stunning, and expressive spaces that will enhance your daily life.
All of our projects begin in collaboration with you, the client. We want to get to know you and your goals. We’ll ask a lot of questions to get a feel for how you will use your space and what you would like in your home. How many people do you usually seat at the dining table? Do you have children, grandchildren, or pets? What’s your preferred color and textural design palette? A scope of work is created to outline exactly what it is we will do for the client.
Next, we move into AutoCAD to create floor plans. By considering the purpose and circulation patterns of each area, our designs can achieve the best form, function, and ergonomics for each interior space. For those projects including interior architecture, we will then begin pulling concepts for the construction related items. We have many resources for tile, hardwood flooring, kitchen cabinets, wallpaper, etc. For furnishing only projects, we pull pieces and fabrics and wood samples for you to see the direction of the project.
Presentation & Final Design Development
Our interior design team presents initial concepts for your review. We iterate based on your feedback. This phase is collaborative and can be done in-person or via virtual platforms.
Drawings are finalized. For full-service design work that includes interior architecture, this may include floor plans, site plans, perspective views, sections, elevations, and details of specific architectural and design elements. For furnishings projects, this will include detailed presentation sheets, floorplans, and finish samples of selected pieces.
The execution phase marks the physical production of the planned design. Contractors’ bids are solicited and collected for interior architecture projects. Orders get placed for materials. The design team will create and manage the schedule and oversee installation to resolve any on-site issues. For furnishings projects, we continuously monitor orders with our vendors and keep the client updated on timing. We are on-site during the installation and ensure everything is perfect for the grand reveal to the client.
Our design team walks through the space(s) with our clients and addresses any issues. We appreciate your feedback and a good review on the many social media platforms are always welcome.
